Becoming Andy Warhol
by Nick Bertozzi Author and Pierce Hargan Illustrator
This is a graphic biography for the pop art and cultural icon, Mr. Warhol himself. This biography touches particularly on the turning point where Warhol was to become the nation's sensation at the World's Fair of 1964, where he goes head-to-head with some of the most notorious actors in American infrastructure development, including the abhorrent Robert Moses himself. It would be during this period of time that his mural Thirteen Most Wanted Men would bring him into a spotlight and and set him up to be one of the most iconoclast figures of the 20th century.
