David Bowie: Behind the Curtain
by Andrew Kent Author
In 1975, rock photographer Andrew Kent was asked to document David Bowie's life for two years, with unlimited access. This book is the result. In words and photos, we see a sort of frenetic travelogue as Kent followed Bowie on the Station to Station tour. On stage, backstage, at parties, in dressing rooms and cars across Europe, and on a spontaneous trip to the Soviet Union. Cameron Crowe was a young reporter on the tour and wrote the foreword for the book.
