A story of searching for community and chasing your dream, this debut novel from Sean Madigan Hoen (a musician and member of the band Leaving Rouge) spans a decade in late 90's Detroit. It follows Hoen's path of becoming a musician, and how that dream held up in the middle of family turmoil and the struggle to stay creative.  Spin magazine referred to Hoen's music as “an art-core mindfuck” and he brings his story to the page with humor and compassion.
