While "science" can't prove the authenticity of these supernatural tales, the key inquiries persist. What is the origin of these stories? Do they have any direct links to actual historical events? Willis spoke with proprietors, staff, and visitors of reputedly haunted Ohio locations, conducting over 200 hours of personal interviews to construct distinctive histories for each place to answer those key inquiries.
