After abortion was legalized with Roe v Wade, they kept their studies and teachings going, updating their practices with the times and changing cultural landscapes like the AIDS epidemics and anti-abortion terrorism. Deep Care specifically focuses on a group of generations of activists working under- (and above-) ground in Oakland from the 1970s to 2010s.
