Lycanthropy and Other Chronic Illnesses: A Novel

This young adult novel is a story about friendships, the difficulty of chronic disease, the challenges of college, and yes - werewolves. Priya was living her dream of going to Stanford to study premed, but her life took a turn when she had to move home and deal with undiagnosed Lyme disease. Luckily she finds friends and support in an on-line chat with an on-line support group, but then one of her friends in the chat suddenly disappears. Priya takes an unexpected adventure to check up on her friend, only to discover a terrifying creature locked in a basement, and only then does she begin to put the puzzle together.
