Faces of Africa
This is a photographic narrative of many and diverse people of the African continent, where the most phenotypic diversity exists, limited even with the many photos in this book. From black and white photos and vibrant color, there are over 200 images of people from many areas, many very remote, in many countries across the continent. The photographer author contrasts the vivid portrayal and artistry in his craft and subjects with the reality of the difficulties faced by many—from globalization, exploitation from the outer world, the elements, and more. Despite this, this book aims to explore the diversity in the geography and the people who belong to it and to whom it belongs to. The text inside is bilingual—English and German.
