Lemongrass and Lime: Southeast Asian Cooking at Home
by Leah Cohen Author and Stephanie Banyas Author
This book explores some iconic flavor profiles from a beloved collection of Leah Cohen’s recipe collection. The author grew up Filipino and for much of her life she didn’t expect her culinary cultural heritage would eventually be part of her life’s work. After working in Michelin starred restaurants and competing on Top Chef, Cohen still was searching for a culinary identity. She found many answers and notes of them throughout all of Southeast Asia. The book contains over 125 recipes to allow the reader cook to let their taste buds travel. She will explore the kitchen preparation dynamics and how to control the chaos that characterizes some Asian cuisine kitchens. For courses and mealtimes around the clock, this book also has a section on cocktails, fiery beverages that pair well with many dishes found inside.
