Symbolorum: The Secret Wisdom of Emblems
This book dives into esoteric and magical images of Baroque emblems, a witchy reference to symbols that serves as a great bibliomancy medium (that is, fortune telling through books). Bibliomancy was much more popular in the 16th and 17th centuries and this book hearkens back to the practice. Inside are magical, witchy images that contain symbolism that is very much like the kinds of found in the tarot of today (and of yesterday). Inside this particular book are featured 100 images, drawn from a book that the author found in four different tomes that were originally published in 1590 to 1604. The mottos and text of the original has remained intact, in the original Latin, with additional English translation and author commentary.
