Grow and Gather: A gardener's guide to a year of cut flowers
This is an accessible guide to growing flowers to cut and then using them to adorn your home. The book is not solely for those who have loads of space in their home to grow; it includes this who are working with more limited plots. Through different projects, the book will have the reader and gardener select different flowers based on color, shape, and texture that will take them on a tour of the year—from the time that the seeds are sown in the spring to harvesting seeds for the following year in the fall. It also teaches how to consider these flowers with arranging them in the home. The author, in addition to being a gardener, is a clinical psychologist and she brings forth the meditative elements and mental benefits to gardening and growing flowers.
