Grief Handbook: A guide through the worst days of your life
This is a guide whose goal is to help the reader through difficult times of grief and loss, maybe providing some relief, understanding, comfort, or compassion. The author shares some of the experiences that inspired writing this book, times where emotions were overwhelming and seemingly unending with little support. She draws from psychological research to mix with her anecdotes to provide this guide that takes the position that there is no single way to deal with grief, that it’s often very singular. It offers practical advice that may or may not help, but that often aims to ground the person and navigate their emotions without repression.
