World of Weird: A Creepy Compendium of True Stories
by Tom Adams Author and Celcius Pictor Author
This is a look into stories and collections of the weird and creepy of Dr. McCreebor. Through the intriguing, sometimes disturbing, stories of his travels in his journal, McCreebor also had artifacts that range from charms and shrunken heads to things like saints’ blood and and pillaged grave remains. His collection was made over 125 years ago and it takes some stomach to handle the doctor’s writings, written from a Victorian perspective to boot — with annotations made by his descendant. The collection of artifacts is extensive, containing things that are from nature, some man-made, many having to do with the spirt world, some scientific and related to criminal punishment, some of a magical nature, and many relating to death. The book also contains steampunk illustrations of McCreebor’s maps, sketches, and photographs.
