The School for Cats

Jenny Linsky, a famous black cat from Greenwich Village, is sent to a boarding school to learn cat manners and cooperation. Afraid and homesick, she settles in but soon faces mischief from Pickles, the Fire Cat. Terrified, she runs away.

Realizing the Captain, her owner, would be disappointed, Jenny stands up to Pickles. When he tries his tricks again, she surprises him with newfound courage. Pickles learns manners, and Jenny discovers that school can be fun and friendships can last forever. This book is suitable for kids ages 3 to 7.
