An Apostate's Guide to Witchcraft: Finding Freedom through Magic

This book explores the author’s own uplifting life transition our of a fundamentalist Christian cult and subsequent empowerment at the hands of a Pagan spirituality and coven. The author will then dive in and explain what separates most forms of Paganism from cults and cult behavior, including in high-control religions, as a call to action to shed oppressive spiritual structures and find support, if needed. Through this story of self-liberation, the author will also call to celebrate many other magics in life — through sample exercises and journal prompts to reflect. Through his own changes, the writer aims to celebrate culture, spiritual recovery through a frame of authenticity and honesty in developing healthy participation and practices in religion.
