Let it Rot!: The Gardener's Guide to Composting (Third Edition)
by Stu Campbell Author
Some of, okay a lot of, our favorite books were published in the 70s. It was an era sort of like now, when the world seemed like it was going to shit, but also there were these exciting movements of people doing things magically differently, and with tremendous optimism and energy. And all of these books came out of it that have stuck with us and are just as necessary and helpful today as they were then. Let It Rot is one of those books that still resonates; the fact that it's still in print and has sold over 300,000 copies is a pretty good testament to that. It's THE book about composting. The one that got everyone into it, and the one that could either get you into it or keep you doing it, whatever you're looking for.
We used to have a copy that got wet and was literally composting right on the shelves, which was amazing, but it found a home pretty fast, so now you are stuck with these nice, new books that you'll need to get all damp and dirty and vegetable-splattered yourself.
