This is the second book in series of Dune books, the award winning series and a classic and pioneering work in the sci-fi genre. It continues the story of Paul Atreides, or as readers might know as Muad’Dib, one of the most powerful people in the universe in this world. It follows the progression as he faces pressure from enemy political houses and conspiracy plots from within his own House Atreides. Throughout the novel, his noble house sees signs of decline and real threats face Paul, including to his lover and his unborn child. Readers will continue to explore the world and the feudal interstellar society, the first of the five finished sequels from Frank Herbert.
