This book looks at ways in which trees are essential on many different levels—climate and the planet, our urban and rural environments, our neighborhoods, and mental and physical health. This book serves as a call to action to reforest and plant more trees, providing information on what people can do in their communities to aid the mission of making more forests. Alongside the information on the benefits of trees, the book contains information on growing and caring for trees as well as all things maintenance, as well as a guide on identifying 40 different tree types by their different facets. For many different kinds of readers, this book aims to inculcate people into being advocates for the environment and better allies to our leafy, trunked friends.
