Public Space Metropolitian Barcelona: 2018-2022 Interventions and Conversations

This book documents the projects that the Barcelona Metropolitan Area/AMB planned and carried out during the years of 2018 to 2022, as part of the series that looks at theses projects over the span of 35 years. This compilation of completed public works goes into the public interventions in a catalog form, divided into six chapters— park space, water, covered area, renovated space, urban space, and mobility space. This book outlines the 56 projects out of the 265 that were actually completed and carried out. Each chapter, through the journalist Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, features the works through an interview with two experts that give their points of view on the projects and the processes that needed to happen for these to be completed. In addition, the book contains reflections from architects for the metropolitan area, on the works and urban planning that took place.
