Vinyl: The Art of Making Records
This handsome book shares the history of the LP, vinyl records, from it’s dawn in the late 1950s to its modern revival as an art form that appreciated just as in the days when these were massed produced by hand—and ultimately vinyl caused a revolution. The book explores the history, down to how these were made and were innovated to hold a whole album. Inside included are four removable art prints that can be displayed as art at the reader’s discretion, sampling albums from different decades.
