The Chieu Hoi Saloon

This book focuses on the life of fictional Harry Hudson, a Vietnam vet trying to escape the violences of his past. The story takes place in Los Angeles in 1992 amidst the Rodney King riots, and Hudson must not only navigate his own tragic past but also his uncertain future. Along the way, he meets characters that challenge him in good and bad ways, and ultimately Hudson must face his past if he is to ever meet his future as a better man.
