Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things
by Michael Braungart Author and William McDonough Author
McDonough and Braungart offer a different approach to consuming consciously in regards to protecting the environment. Instead of merely reducing one's consumption, they believe that the nature of the products themselves can be changed in such a way as to help the environment. They cite the excess of a tree's blossoms as an example nature's healthy abundance; they believe that humans can create products that mirror this idea, maintaining an equilibrium with nature while still producing new materials and products. They also include ways that anyone can effectively be environmentally conscious in their creations.
