March Women March: How Women Won the Vote
by Lucinda Hawksley Author
A detailed history of the Women's suffrage movement. Many questions about the grit of the suffragettes and suffragists of the late 20's are answered and expounded upon in this accessible history book. Not only the front lines of suffrage are addressed; the women and men (starting in the 18th century) who started the feminist movement and led us to the women's right to vote are also pondered to give a sense of just how far we've come. Not to say, however, the feminist movement is complete, Lucinda Hawksley explains in great detail all the steps taken to allow women to take part in their country's elections, which gives us an idea of what it takes to continue on with the progress of humanity.
