Morris and Buddy: The Story of the First Seeing Eye Dog tells the story about Morris, who lost his sight at 16 while boxing. Dorothy Eustis, an American dog trainer had wrote an article about a school in Germany that was training German shephards to be helpers for soldiers blinded in the war. When Morris heard of this he got in contact with Eustis and she invited him to Switzerland to begin training with his own dog.
