Jolanda Witch Tarot: The Healing Art of Magic

by Rosie Björkman Author and Hans Arnold Author

This tarot deck and accompanying book differ from your usual Rider-Waite-Smith symbology in that it blends those very archetypes and tropes along with other magical, pagan, shamanistic, and indigenous storytelling. The 78 cards that make up the deck are divided into the figures of the major arcana and the pips of the minor arcana — notably through depictions of female archetypes, animal guides, and expanded esoteric symbolism. The comprehensive 400-page guidebook might be daunting for the beginner but contains all the info on the tarot as well as the novelty this deck has to offer — including unique spreads, upright and reversed card interpretations. What might interest the beginner are the exercises and instruction that the deck provides for the user to learn and remember the meanings within.
