The people who produced the poster are local to Portland and want it to benefit tangible things in their own community. Other than that, you should ride your bike in Portland. It may be surprising how it's not quite as bike friendly as the media would have you believe. Fatalities are still happening, near accidents are daily.

i think that the proceeds going to bike advocacy work in portland is great, but isn't portland very bike friendly already.lets see some change and work in other parts of the country.
