Bangladeshi Garments Workers Movement

This poster depicts an uprising in the year 2023 where tens of thousands of garment factory workers in Bangladesh, mainly women, organized a strike. They shut down hundreds of factories to demand a living wage for their efforts. Known as the Garments Workers Movement, it advocates for living wages, unionizing, safety rights, factories free of sexual violence and coercion, and against the global system of resource extraction.
