Do Not Disturb: Hotel Room Drawings

Do Not Disturb is a collection of 39 hand designed blueprint style line drawings. Each piece was created while Harley Zinker, a FOH (front of house) engineer, toured around the world with various music bands. From New York City to California...Brazil to England. Each hotel room he stays in gets the aerial view design from his pilot G2, koh-I-Noor technical pen, or sharpie.

Some are drafted in complete freehand, while for others a ruler, straightedge or architects’ template is the tool of choice. The only rule Harley follows when making a drawing, is that it must be made on the hotel’s stationery.
