Aaron Renier

Aaron Renier has won the Will Eisner Comic Industry Award for Talent Deserving Wider Recognition, a Maurice Sendak Fellowship, and two Best Children's Album Eisner nominations for his comics, which he's been drawing since childhood. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin; attended art school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; lived in Portland, Oregon, and Brooklyn, NY; and currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, where he's hard at work on his second Walker Bean book and enjoying the vibrant comics community and great environment for playing fetch with his dog.
