The Egyptian Book of the Dead
by E.A. Wallis Budge Translator
The Egyptian Book of the Dead is an ancient collection of spells and prayers, written to help guide the deceased through the dangers of the underworld and into eternal life. Usually buried along with the dead, these scrolls offer a unique look into the world of ancient Egypt. Also included are beautiful images from the Papyrus of Ani, a scroll written for the Theban scribe Ani.
