Pioneering Women of Glacier National Park David Butler
This book shares the unique history and contributions women had to it when it comes to Glacier National Park. It takes a look at the manifold roles women held in the area during the times of 1910 to 1940. It includes stories of the Native women in the area as well as the feats of settler women, discussing all their activities including writing, painting, and more. For much of the place’s history, their contributions have often gone under the radar. Included in the sharing of history are photographs that will illustrate the landscape and the people of the time for the reader.
