The Everyday Wok Cookbook: Simple and Satisfying Recipies for the Most Versatile Pan in Your Kitchen

by Lorna Yee Author and Kathryn Barnard Photographer

This book will teach the reader how to make the most of their wok by presenting 55 recipes all intended to be accessible with what it claims to be the most versatile pan in the kitchen. It will teach the reader how to braise, steam, stew, and deep fry different foods, but also how to bake in it! The recipes included cover a wide diversity of ethnic dishes, focusing on traditional American staples but also Asian and Asian-American fusion dishes and staples. The author’s goal is to teach the reader that this pan is a wide array of uses for more than stir frying noodles or rice — even though it also does this best!
