The Sculptor

This graphic novel is a meditation on art, love, sacrifice, and how these ideas intermingle and come together to form a life. The main character David, only has 200 days to live after making a deal with Death to have the ability to sculpt anything he wants. Frantic with the thought of his ever encroaching demise, David nevertheless finds himself falling in love. Fundamental human fears and desires are brought to life in this beautiful and heartbreaking graphic novel, and The Sculptor prompts readers to think about their own lives and the different passions and fears the rule them.
