My Dad Used to Be So Cool
by Keith Negley Author
Keith Negley's playful and emotional art tells this story of a new father who is no longer the cool guy he once was. In this picture book, we see a tattooed dad doing normal stuff like vacuuming, tying his kid's shoes, playing in the park, and rocking out to the car radio. Told from the point of view of the kid, who wonders if his dad is happy and still having fun even though he's far from his wild punk rocker days. The answer's pretty charming.
