Architecture in Minutes: 200 Key Buildings and Movements in an Instant
by Susie Hodge and In Minutes
This book covers key movements and monuments in architecture, from Sumerian ziggurats to the movement of expressive rationalism. Included is an image on every other page, as well as lists of architects, their buildings, and the movements their works belong to. Though these descriptions are short, they are succinct rather than abbreviated, and Hodge does a good job of choosing what details are the most important to include about architecture through the ages.
