If you've been to Chicago, you know about the car-stoppers. Well, if you've been to any one of a number of major metropolitan areas, you're probably familiar with car-stoppers. Large concrete pillars, metal rods, posts, or some combination of materials designed to keep a car from hitting a structure dot corners and alleyways, parking lots and industrial areas. This zine is a collection of photographs of Chicago's finest car-stoppers. With pictures taken all over the city, and car-stoppers in varying degrees of disarray and disrepair, the photographers from Temporary Services, the creator of this zine, have documented this phenomenon for your perusal and enjoyment.
