Why Self-Publish Under Fascism?/Public Publishing Diary

This book is a part diary testimony of Marc Fischer’s foray into Bluesky, part diary documenting his posts on the platform sharing his insights on publishing, specifically self-publishing. He was attracted to the platform because the lack of Nazi as compared to the platform formerly known as Twitter, as well as the short form, character limit posts. The zine shares his posts from his start in October 2024 to September 2025. The most notable post and the namesake of the zine are featured, coming out of an invitation to participate in a panel called “Why Make Zines in 2025”.
