Island Book

Sola lives in an island community where they never leave the island except to fish. But she's been cursed by a moster who ravaged the island and so she's been locked away from her community as no one wants to risk bringing the curse back down upon the island. Rather than live in perpetual isolation, she runs away and leaves the island to find out how to finally break the curse.
