Safe Area Gorazde: The War in Eastern Bosnia 1992-1995

Safe Area Gorazde is the account of the terrible seige of Gorazde and the brutal "cleansing" of the non-Serb population in Eastern Bosnia. Cartoonist/reporter Joe Sacco brilliantly captures the violent realities of war, the dark humor that often surrounds these events, and what it is like when a war is ending and people slowly let themselves believe that they had survived.
