Why I March: Images from the Woman's March Around the World
On January 21, 2017, the day after the US presidential inauguration, five million people in 82 countries took to the streets for 673 different Women's Marches, sparking fierce activism and important debates and forming the backbone of a global movement. This full-color collection of the best photos from marches on every continent (yes, even Antarctica!) shows the crowds, the individual expressions, the many handmade signs, the public art, and the costumes as activists of all ages, races, genders, and beliefs came together to protest Trump's installation and demand greater freedom and equality.
