Tomorrow Will Be Different: Love, Loss, and the Fight for Trans Equality
by Joe Biden and Sarah McBride
Sarah McBride urges: "We must never be a country that says there's only one way to love, only one way to look, and only one way to live."
In her autobiography, she shares how she's always known she was a girl. Yet knowing was completely different from announcing her truth to family and the student body of American University. From her video going viral to becoming the first transgender individual to speak at a national political convention to finding her first love and the experience being interrupted by cancer, her journey has been one of both empowerment and tragedy. Although McBride has overcome many trials over the years, she continues to fight the battle for equality not only for herself but for the LGBT community of the United States.
