Septima Poinsette Clark and the Citizenship School Movement

This poster, part of the Celebrate People's History series, depicts a scene with Septima Poinsette Clark, a Civil Rights activist. Clark was instrumental in the fight to get Black teachers hired and paid on par with their white counterparts, and created the Citizenship Education Program.
