Ouch! My Poor Body

Going to the doctor can be an adventure to put it lightly. With all the different tests and diagnosis (not to mention all the different doctors), the range of hospital experiences range from pleasant to miserable. Written and illustrated by Monica Johnson, these three short zines depict diverse, darkly funny anecdotes from hospital visits, titled Ouch! My Poor Lung, Ouch! My Poor Foot, and Ouch! My Poor Vagina. With a polka-dotted paper wrap in the design of a bandaid to hold the bundle together, this cute little pack of zines empathizes with those painful injuries and the process it takes to fix them.
