Girls Are Not Chicks Coloring Book
by Jacinta Bunnell Author
You might not have known it, but you need this book. A coloring book combating gender stereotypes, how could you say no?
There are enough books that make girls think that they are not any good or that boys only play with soldiers. But with this creative coloring book, we are taught that girls take pride in themselves and boys can enjoy cooking and cleaning just as much as any female.
Girls are thinkers, creators, fighters, healers and superheroes, and there's no reason to treat them-- or color them!-- any differently.
This is the newer, glossier PM Press edition.

Purchased this for my naturally subversive and art-inclined nine year old cousin. Had to tear out the page about abortion, lest her conservative parents throw out the entire thing, but it's simple and cute and serves its purpose well.
