Johnnie Anderson's Botany & Zoology Drawings

This zine explores a person’s 1930’s botany and zoology homework, sketches of animals and plants. The artists whose art is being featured is a distant relative through marriage of the author’s; the drawings were found while clearing out a storage unit and home of some relatives.  Author Marc Fischer was captivated by the detail of these drawings and said that if he were the kind of person to get tattoos, these images would be contenders. The back cover material explains a bit about who the artists was, as far as the author was able to gather and surmise—made when the artist was 19/20 years old.
