Smash the Skatriarchy #3: BIPOC Skaters

The third zine in the Smash the Skatriarchy series, this edition focuses on the contributions BIPOC skaters have made to the skating world. Author and editor Amelia Bjesse-Puffin has devoted most of the pages of this edition to ensuring that BIPOC skaters around the U.S. have a chance to tell their stories. Hear from Jada and Mikaela in Portland, Selina in Salt Lake City, Gora, who skate roller derby with Team USA Juniors, and Mick, a co-founder of the borderless Team Indigenous roller derby group. This series celebrates the joyful community of skating and the good work being done to bring equity to the skating world.
