Why Johnny Doesn't Flap: NT is OK!

by Alex Merry Author, Clay Morton Author and Gail Morton Author

This fantastic book is about what it's like to be friends with an NT (neurotypical). Neurotypicals make interesting friends: they like to make eye contact, they say weird things like "piece of cake!' instead "that was easy,' they don't jump up and down when something exciting is happening... and that's ok!

Children with autism can find it difficult to make friends with neurotypicals because of their chattiness, unpredictability, and strange way of thinking, but it is important for autistic children to lean that NTs are people too, and that it's ok to be different.

A great story that reminds us that 'normal' is in the eye of the beholder.
