Why Self-Publish Under Fascism?
by Marc Fischer Author Public Collectors Author
As the US becomes more repressive, libraries, universities, and schools face constant threats, so our freedom of the press is at risk. Self-publishing has long thrived in the margins. In this climate, it’s crucial that people own the tools and develop skills to spread information, messages, stories, documentation, ideas, and art in tangible ways. This zine answers questions that the reader may have and inspires them to gain the skills to be able to create their own mediums by which to connect people and make community. The zine is written through the voice and experience of Marc Fischer and explores his perspective on the issues and importance of self publishing.
