The Shadow Out of Time

A deft graphic-novel adaptation of the 1936 novella by the legendary American writer H.P. Lovecraft. The Shadow Out of Time was first published in the science-fiction magazine Astounding Stories and describes the Great Race of Yith—an extraterrestrial species that is able to travel through time and space by using mind transfer (essentially, switching bodies with a host and taking control in a similar way to spiritual possession). I.N.J. Culbard brings Lovecraft's eerie story to life, using his unique, unsettling, and compelling illustrations and artistic vision.
