Nicki Schleckman

Nicki Schleckman is an illustrator, mixed media artist, and writer from Cleveland, Ohio. In the late 90s and early aughts she began self-publishing zines, which led to a stint as a music and literary critic for Punk Planet Magazine, and later a job designing merch for touring bands. Her fiber arts projects have been featured in a 2020 Presidential election campaign ad and in an exhibit called the tiny pricks project. When she's not hiking or exploring waterfalls around the US with her partner, she's out seeking new restaurants and coffee shops to try, hosting a craft night for her friends, or finding unusual roadside attractions to visit, like the World's Largest Washboard, which happens to be on the side of an old factory in southern Ohio.
