Bo Brown Poster

by Justseeds Author

Bo Brown described herself as an "anti-authoritarian lesbian feminist anarcho-communist" at her sentencing hearing in Portland in 1978, thumbing her nose at the state all the way through the proceedings. A member of the George Jackson Brigade during the 1970s, Bo was deeply committed to prison abolition and anti-carceral organizing throughout her life. Though Bo passed away in the fall of 2021, her memory still animates the struggle against state violence and incarceration. Celebrate People's History and Bo Brown's contributions to it with this poster. Put it up in your office, your classroom, your home, or wherever else Bo Brown's work merits memorialization.
